1. Ocean Park

Ocean Park situated on the south end of Hong Kong Island, the Ocean Park is among the top theme parks and aquariums in Southeast Asia, as well as the best marine education center, which makes it a must for families with children. 2. Victoria Bay

4. Victoria Peak

The amazing Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditorium, the exciting Peak Explorer Motion Simulator, and relaxing terraces and restaurants are among the favorite stops at this entertainment center. Another favorite attractiveness is the Madame Tussaud Wax Museum with figures of celebrities including local movie star Jackie Chan. Additionally, on the northern hillside of the Peak, you can see the Zoological and Botanical Garden.

5. Wong Tai Sin Temple

Wong Tai Sin Temple, patterned after an ancient Chinese palace and rich in Chinese culture, is the most well-known temple in Hong Kong. Fortunetellers are active there. Besides the Wong Tai Sin Temple, another two famous temples in Hong Kong are the Man Mo Temple and Po Lin Monastery.

6. Ngong Ping 360

The Ngong Ping experience starts with a 25-minute cable car ride that gives you panoramic vista of Hong Kong International Airport, North Lantau Country Park and other views that are completely opposite of what you can see in the city.

7. Tian Tan Buddha

Tian Tan Buddha is also known as Big Buddha. A giant 34-meter bronze statue located at a platform, to reach the platform, tourists can climb the 268 steps. The statue is overlooking the Po Lin Monastery where tourists can also enjoy a vegetarian meal. Aside from Ngong Ping Village, tourists can walk further to see the Wisdom Path and for the adventurous, go hiking at the Lantau Peak.

8. Avenue of Stars

Similar to Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, Hong Kong pays tribute to its film industry. Popular Chinese stars include Jet Li, Sammo Hung and Bruce Lee. This is a free visitor attraction at the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade; it’s also a vantage point for the Symphony of Lights.

9. Symphony of Lights

It is awarded by the Guide ness World Records as “World’s biggest Permanent Light and Sound Show”. Witness the synergy of lights and music every night at exactly 8 pm. This has been a well-liked beautiful place for the locals and tourist alike so be at the TST Harbourfront early to get a good spot on the viewing deck, the best vantage point is the view deck near the Clock Tower. Another great thing is, it’s free so you can watch it every night.
